Field work - January 2008

Lorraine Field, Dave Ferguson and Talfan Barnie, PhD students with the Afar Rift Consortium, kept blogs and took lots of photographs of thier experiences whilst on fieldwork in Afar in January, 2008. Here, they describe the wonderful people they met, the interesting food they ate and the fascinating culture of Afar and Ethiopia.
