Biography

Peter Willetts is a PhD researcher looking at model biases in the Indian Monsoon resulting from convective parametrisation.

After graduating from the University of Southampton in 2008 with an MSci in Geophysics, he worked for 4 years in the marine seismic oil and gas industry, but then wanted to return to academia.

I have demonstrated several times on SOEE2700 Environmental Research and Careers Skills (Blencathra field trip), and once on a 'Software Carpentry' workshop, which teaches basic computing skills to researchers.
