Biography

I am a final year PhD student working in the Institute of Climate and Atmospheric Science (ICAS), under the supervision of Prof. Doug Parker (SEE) and Dr. Stephen Griffiths (Mathematics). My research interest lies in the mathematics describing the interactions between deep atmospheric convection and gravity waves. Through idealised problems in Fluid Dynamics, relevent to our atmosphere, I hope to learn about the fundamental processes which govern the behavior of severe storms.
