Description
A geoengineering method to reduce global temperatures via cloud seeding has been proposed by Prof John Latham. The effect of cloud seeding on marine stratocumulus clouds is not fully understood as a result several modelling and observational studies have been undertaken. My work is split between modelling using the Met Office Unified Model (v6.1) HADGem and analysing data collected during the VOCALs field campaign in 2008.
