Summary

The Governance of Sustainable Technologies Network met three times between September 2004 and January 2006. The network was funded by the ESRC's Sustainable Technologies Programme and 15 scholars, with projects funded under the programme, took part. Meetings were held at the Open University, Edinburgh University and Sussex University. The network's main output was Governing Technology for Sustainability, edited by Joseph Murphy and published by Earthscan in 2007, which explores the people-technology-governance nexus and its implications for sustainability.
