SEE Photo Competition 2012

Enter your images and you could win a prize. Plus we hope to use the winning entries to publicise the School!
There are three categories:
- Natural World
- People and Culture
- Fieldwork
Submit one high quality resolution electronic copy and one high quality print (A4 size maximum) to Mollie Van der Gucht by 5pm, Friday 18 May 2012. The entries will be displayed in the Common Room from Monday 28 May to Friday 8 June. Winners will be announced by Tuesday 12 June 2012.

Terms and Conditions
- Photos can be submitted in any one of three categories: Natural World; People and Culture; or Fieldwork.
- Entries are restricted to one per person per category. A maximum of three entries per individual are allowed.
- One high resolution (minimum size 1Mb) electronic copy and one hardcopy of each photo entry should be submitted to Mollie Van der Gucht.
- Deadline for submission is 5pm, Friday 18 May 2012.
- Hard copy prints should be of good print quality and to a maximum size of A4.
- All photos must have been taken by the person submitting the image, no entries on behalf of a third party are allowed.
- Please write your name, contact details, competition category, title and location on the back of the photo. An optional description may also be included (this information can also be written on the back of the photo).
- The competition is open to staff and students from the School of Earth & Environment, University of Leeds only.
- Photos will be displayed in the Common Room from Monday 28 May to Friday 8 June inclusive.
- The winners will be selected via a voting system which will operate only during the period that photos are on display. One vote per person is allowed and votes can only be submitted by staff or students from the University of Leeds.
- The photo with the greatest number of votes will win the competition overall. Photos with the most votes from each of the other categories will also be identified as runners up.
- Winners will be announced on or before Tuesday 12 June 2012.
- Entrants may be approached regarding the use of their image at a later date. This will be done on an individual basis.
