Project Details
Project Title: Modelling the microphysical sensitivities of storm dynamics
Supervisors: Dr Peter Knippertz and Professor Alan Blyth
Start date: 1st October 2010
Biography: I started at the University of Leeds in 2006 initially as an undergraduate Chemistry student before transferring to Environmental Science in the School of Earth and Environment in 2007. I graduated with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in 2010. During my final year I completed my dissertation on "Airflow over partially forrested hillsides" under the supervision of Dr Andrew Ross. Having completed my degree I spent 3 months as a Research Assistant under Dr Ian Brooks doing quality control and data analysis for white-cap fraction measurements from numerous research cruises. In October 2010 I started my PhD under the supervision of Dr Peter Knippertz and Prof. Alan Blyth as part of the DIAMET consortium project.
