Biography
Susan joined the school in Autumn 2010. She previously worked at Manchester and Sheffield Universities on a number of research projects most recently SCORCHIO relating to the impact of climate change on the built environment and prior to this climate and vegetation modelling at the global and the regional scale (Arctic).

Project outline
Project title: Microclimates. This is a NERC-funded project to investigate the impact of spatio-climatic variability on land-based renewable energy sources such as wind power and bio-energy crops.
