Project outline

Understanding the effect of aerosols on cloud formation process holds the key to assessment of aerosols indirect impacts on climate. Organic and carbonaceous aerosols are ubiquitous in the atmosphere and they are thought to contribute to ice formation in clouds. My research focuses on the study the ice nucleation abilities of combustion products at conditions relevant in mixed-phase clouds.
