Project details

Project title

The influence of regulation and organisational culture on climate risk management in business organisations: An analysis of the electricity sector in Britain and France

Supervisors

Funding

The funding for this project comes from the EU project BASE.

Project outline

The aim of my PhD is to explore the influence that regulation and organisational culture have upon electricity companies’ approach to risk management in Britain and France. The study builds upon existing research in risk management, governance and organisational culture. This interplay is examined for a variety of organisations exhibiting different ownership arrangements and organisational cultures and operating under two different regulatory regimes.
