Biography

I run the AQ-ICP-MS lab, here we either run samples as external work or train postgraduates and postdocs up to be able to use the facility. We have the Perkin Elmer DRC-II ICP-MS and run a variety of samples, from high salinity, digests and samples with a complex matrix of organic and inorganic's to relatively "clean" water.

My other roles include sitting on the central Yorkshire committee for the Royal Society of Chemistry and am their representative at Leeds University, we hold our meetings here at the school of Earth and Environment on a regular basis. In addition I am the equalities officer for UNITE at Leeds University.
