Biography

I joined the School of Earth and Environment in January 2015 as a Graduate/Teaching Assistant, and also study a part-time PhD as part of the Minerals and Ore research group.

Research Interests

My research interests include:

  • Geochemistry of hydrothermal systems.
  • Genesis of gold deposits.
  • Formation and evolution of orogenic terrains

Teaching Interests

I currently assist with teaching of undergraduate students in practical sessions and on many of the field courses. I also run the Wednesday drop in session for students.

Project title

Evaluation of the mineralogy of gold in organic belts: examining the influence of host lithology and fluid processes on trace element systems.

Funding

My Research is funded through a full Scholarship from the University of Leeds.
In 2016 I received a Graduate Student Fellowship for the amount of US$10,000.00 from the Society of Economic Geologists to support my studies.
