Degrees
BSc(Hons) in Environmental sciences from The University of Brighton, graduating 2005.
MSc Ecology, Evolution & Conservation from Imperial College London, graduating 2006.
Academic History:
After graduating from the University of Brighton with a bachelors degree in Environmental sciences I went on to study a Masters in Ecology, Evolution & Conservation with Imperial College London where I specialised in plant systems biology.
I carried out my masters project in conjunction with the Centre of Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) in Dorset. My masters thesis looked at isolation effects on the pollination system of Wild cabbage(Brassica oleracea)along the Dorset coast.
After my Masters I decided to take a gap year to give me chance to find my ideal PhD. During my gap year I was given the opportunity to present my masters thesis at the GFA conference in Marburg, Germany.
I started my PhD in October 2007 at the University of Leeds where I'm an EBI student split across the biological sciences, geography and earth and environment departments.
