Biography
Prior to joining SRI as a Teaching Fellow in September 2008, I had a career in project management and training. I have worked with large and small private sector companies as well as voluntary and public sector organisations on project and change management contracts. My current role is to assist with programme management on the MSc in Sustainability (Environmental Consultancy and Project Management), delivering on the project management elements.
My research is focussed on examining the impact of businesses in the private sector on sustainable development in resource rich developing countries, with particular interest in assessing the impact of CSR strategies of extractive industries.
With an early career as a college lecturer in Business and Economics, I have a first degree in business from University of North London and a masters degree in development from Leeds.
