Biography

  • Member of the Climate Change and Impacts Research Group. Main research interests include Radiative forcing, Climate impact of aviation contrails, Climate modelling.
  • Since June 2007, working with Prof. Piers Forster on Climate modelling of aviation contrails, as part of the OMEGA and COSIC projects.
  • Several secondments to Hadley Centre Met Office, Exeter.
  • 2005 - 2007: work with Prof. Mike Smith and Dr. Sat Ghosh on Multi-component aerosol-cloud parametrisations for global climate modelling.
  • September 2001 - January 2005: PhD student working with Dr. Xianyun Wen on Inverse contaminant fluid flow problems. Other members of the research support group: Dr. Lionel Elliott, Prof. Derek B. Ingham, Prof. Daniel Lesnic (Department of Applied Mathematics).
