Positive Steps
AMASE
AMASE is an international, interdisciplinary research collaboration between scientists, engineers and artists from Norway, the US and the UK. This temporary exhibition of photographs at Eureka! The National Children's Museum shows how the AMASE scientists put high tech equipment to the test on Earth in preparation for NASA and ESA missions in 2011 and 2017.
Admission to this special exhibition is included in the normal admission price.
Leeds City Walks – Geology of buildings in Leeds
2007 marked the 800th anniversary of the foundation of Leeds as a borough.
This geological walk around the buildings of Leeds city centre offers
a chance to look at the history of the Earth through the materials used
to build the city over the last 800 years.
