Congratulations on your exam success. We are very much looking forward to seeing you in the School of Earth and Environmentand we hope you find it a dynamic, stimulating and friendly place to learn. Whilst you'll have the opportunity to engage with and be inspired by the wide range of environmental research that takes place within the School you should also embrace every opportunity to immerse yourself in University life from the moment you arrive. This site is designed as a Countdown to your University Study, to help prepare you to join us. In particular it is intended to:

  • Help you organize yourself before you arrive;
  • Introduce you to the people you will meet;
  • Answer the questions you may have about your course and study at University;
  • Help you to prepare for your course with an activity (optional);
  • Show you some examples of academic research going on within the School;
  • Let you hear some advice from current staff and students;
  • Give you the opportunity to chat to fellow students before you arrive.
