Introduction

The Kennedy Library is located in 10.140, Earth and Environment Building, University of Leeds. It provides working space for students and houses an extensive geological map collection. It is named for Professor WQ Kennedy, a past professor in the Department of Geology, who undertook geological research in Africa. Professor Kennedy’s collection formed the core of the library when it was set up in the mid-1960s.
