When should I apply?

UK/EU Students

• If you are applying for a PhD project which is listed in our ‘funded’ category, the deadline for study applications will be listed on the PhD project listings.
• If you are applying to the competition for one of the funded UK Research Council Doctoral Training Awards (NERC/EPSRC/ESRC), the closing date will normally be in February and will be advertised on the web page that has the list of PhD projects.
• If you are applying for one of the University scholarships, you will normally need to have made a study application BEFORE you apply for the scholarship.  The scholarship application deadline will be listed at http://scholarships.leeds.ac.uk.
