Dave Tierney (2008-09) enjoyed the breadth of the MSc Exploration Geophysics course; he now works as a geophysicist for GETECH.

Ross O’Driscoll (2009-10) took the Environmental and Engineering option.  His project aimed to evaluate a sand and gravel resource. 

Caroline Selwood (2009-10) was sponsored by BP, which led to a project and a job with BP.

Oliver Ward (2010-11) had a short stint with an independent oil consultancy before deciding to study for the MSc at Leeds. 

John Swallow is Deputy Head of Geophysics at BG Group and has had an ongoing relationship with the Exploration Geophysics MSc.
